To identify nitrogen movement, transformation and losses in groundwater.
Method
Groundwater and nitrate movement were traced using chemical and isotopic composition of water and nitrate, while denitrification was measured using stable isotopic tracers, gas emissions, DNA analyses and geographic analyses.
