Key findings
For the period 1979 to 1982 annual average rainfall and soil erosion was 1063 mm and 7.0-36.4 t/ha respectively for the site. Annual soil loss was significantly different between land slopes of 11 and 17%. However, soil loss remains relatively similar once canopy cover is established (post first year).
