Key findings (brief)
Runoff and bedload losses were greater in grazed treatment sites than exclosed treatment sites. BOPER sites (dominated by stoloniferous grasses) had less runoff and less soil movement than HECON sites (dominated by tussock grasses). High bedload soil loss, soil movement rates, sediment concentration and runoff percentages were associated with cover <30 %.
